Getting Started
Welcome to Loopana! This guide will walk you through the basics of using the dashboard to manage your in-app messages.
What is Loopana?
Loopana lets you manage in-app messages without code changes. Your development team sets up slots (display locations in the app), and you create and manage messages that appear in those slots.
Key Concepts
- Slots — Display locations defined by developers (e.g., "homepage-banner", "onboarding-tooltip")
- Messages — The content you create and manage (title, description, URL, button label)
- Events — Optional triggers within a slot (e.g., "low-token", "trial-ending")
- Modes — How messages are selected: Stack, A/B Test, or Random
Your First Steps
- Sign in to the dashboard
- Your default project is created automatically
- Navigate to Slots to see available display locations
- Click Add Message on a slot to create your first message
- Fill in the title and optional fields
- Click Publish to make it visible to users
You can also create messages from the Messages page and assign them to a slot later.
Roles
- Admins can create and configure slots, manage project settings, and manage API keys
- Members can create and manage messages, view analytics, and change slot display modes
